Our policies

What to expect before you book, in plain words.

Booking and deposits

Book on the booking page at any hour, or call. The first facial, the bridal series and wedding-party facials take a deposit to hold your time. It goes toward your service. Shweta confirms by text or email, whichever you choose.

Canceling and running late

Please give 24 hours' notice to cancel or move a visit. If your event date changes, tell us and your visits move with it; a moved visit keeps its place in the series. Arriving late may shorten your visit, because the time after yours is held for someone else.

If you miss an appointment

If you miss a visit without telling us, the deposit is kept. Shweta is glad to rebook you, and she'll ask for a deposit again on the next booking.

Children and companions

Rosewater sees adults. Anyone under 18 comes with a parent or guardian, who signs the booking and stays for the consultation. The room is small and private, so a friend or relative waits in the hall or the lobby.

Patch tests and allergies

Shweta tries anything new on a small area first and waits before using it on your whole face. Tell her about past reactions and sensitivities at booking, on the booking page. Reactions can happen with any skin product; if one does, tell her and she'll change the plan.

If you're not happy

If a visit didn't sit right, tell us within a few days and we'll make it right. Shweta looks at what happened and changes the plan for your next visit.

Tipping

Tips are welcome and never expected. You can add one when you pay.

Before your visit

Come about ten minutes early with your skin as it is, or tell Shweta what you're wearing. At booking she tells you what to pause, such as products that exfoliate, and what to bring. If your date is close, don't start anything new.

When to ask your doctor first

If you are pregnant or might be, use a prescription skin medicine or have a skin condition a doctor is managing, ask your doctor before you book. Tell Shweta at booking so she can plan around it. She may suggest your doctor or a dermatologist if she sees something a facial isn't the answer to.

Tell us your date

Choose a time for a consultation, or send a message and Shweta will reply by text or email.
