Questions

Questions before you book

What happens at a first visit?

You start with a consultation: your skin, your routine, your date if you have one. Shweta looks at your skin under a magnifying lamp and writes down what she notes. If you booked the first facial, the facial follows, adjusted to what you talked about. Plan on 90 minutes.

When should I start before my event?

Twelve weeks out gives room for all six visits of the bridal series. With less time the series is shorter, and the series page shows what each shorter version keeps. Come as soon as you have a date, even if it is closer than that.

Do you see the people getting ready with me?

Yes. A mother, a sister or a bridesmaid can book her own consultation, or you can book wedding-party facials for up to four people on one day. Each person gets her own consultation and her own visit.

Is this only for weddings?

No. The series counts back from any date: a quinceañera, a graduation, a family portrait day, a reunion. Tell us what the day is and we plan from there.

How long does a visit take?

The consultation alone is 30 minutes. A custom facial is 60 minutes, and the first facial with the consultation is 90. Every service on the menu lists its own time.

Do I need a consultation first?

Yes, once, before your first facial and before the series. It is how Shweta learns your skin and your routine. If you come back after a long break she starts with a short check-in.

What should I do before and after a visit?

At booking, Shweta tells you what to pause, such as products that exfoliate, and what to bring. After the visit she goes over your routine and what to avoid for a day or two, including sun. Her guidance is general, and she confirms it with you.

Who should ask a doctor first?

If you are pregnant or might be, use a prescription skin medicine or have a skin condition a doctor is managing, ask your doctor before you book. Tell Shweta at booking so she can plan the visit around it.

How does pricing work?

Prices aren't printed on this site. They depend on the service, its length and any add-ons, and the booking page shows them when you choose a service, before you confirm.

How do deposits and cancellations work?

A deposit holds the first facial, the series and wedding-party facials, and it goes toward your service. Please give 24 hours' notice to move or cancel. If your event date changes, your visits move with it.
